The journey begins with Jett and John as they set out to discover people and organizations who are spreading light and love back into the world. The first guest is Camp4Heroes a non-profit dedicated to serving veterans and first responders transitioning back into civilian living.
In episode 2 we get the first look at the bus that will become Songs on Wheels and the realization that John and Jett have their work cut out for them.
We also are introduced to an organization who partners service dogs with veterans and people with autism, fittingly named Canine Companions.
John and Jett visit with a partner organization called United Herculean Group. They sit down
with the president Henry Gardner as they discuss his vision for providing affordable housing to
those who have served and also to the working class American. The bus gets cleaned out and
finally running smoother as the team prepares to take the bus to Camp4Heroes for the major
renovation. We also get to see how John and Jett and their circle unwind with music in their down time.
John and Jett catch up backstage with Gary Sinise before he performs at the Villages in Florida. They also sit down with Marie Bogdonoff of Villages for Veterans and discuss the events she and her organization put on in order to raise funds to support veterans. The bus leaves John's yard to head for Camp4Heroes and a makeover.
